WOD from yesterday

So yesterday we did Filthy Fifty - and all I can say is ouch! GQ is sore, but I am not, at least yet. I tend to get more sore as the day goes by.

28:28 was my time

50 box jumps (step ups)
50 kettlbell swings (20#)
50 push press (45# bar)
50 lunges
50 wall balls (12#)
50 Knees to Elbows (This one is hilarious to watch me do I must say - lots of grunting to get my knees to my waist at this point LOL)
50 double unders (I did squats)

I have to say I was very nervous about this one as it is alot, but I was ok all the way through it. I didn't go hard and heavy or anything.

GQ also leaves on Monday for an unspecified amount of time. I usually am not real concerned about him going TDY, but I am 3 weeks away from my due date. I have to say that I am a little nervous this time. Even though I know that he can come home if something happens, it is just unnerving. As long as I am not early, I know he will be back before I go into labor. Hopefully that won't happen. At this time, I don't think it will, but you never know! OK enough preggo insecurity!

Awesome filthy 50! I will be keeping my fingers crossed that baby is comfy until his due date and not keen on making an early entrance :)

With all the exercise you have been doing, I think you're strong enough to just hold Fat Boy in until GQ gets home anyway! :-p

Nice workout. You made me giggle imagining a pregnant woman hanging from a bar doing knees to elbows. And motivated me because I can't do those and I'm *not* pregnant!

You should post about any funny reactions you've had at the gym while you've been visibly pregnant. I must say I've never witnessed a pregnant woman doing much more than walking on a treadmill.

Most people just get all bug eyed and surprised. We have been working out now at GQ's work for awhile and the guys that come in there can't believe it. One friend of ours said that the baby was going to comeout swinging KB's and carrying a stopwatch LOL There were a couple of ladies that work in the building where GQ works that stopped coming. I don't know if that is because I made them uncomfortable or it was a schedule conflict but they didn't like that I could lift more than them.

My Dr was really surprised that I was still working out too.

Normally I can do K2E's but not right now. No abs makes it a little difficult.

There was one guy who asked why I was letting GQ make me work out?! I was a little offended at that I have to say!
